CH Homesteader's Dream Come True "Mikey" Ch Homesteader's Dream Come True was a dog I was simply silly about. His sire and dam both finished easily out of bred by exhibitor classes at specialty shows. His sire is the littermate to my first top ten special.  'Mikey' likes life, showing and hunting and is a wonderful dog to live with. He sired 12 pups in his test litter, when bred to Ch Imagine Homesteader's Parade. He finished quickly in the show ring, and was reserve winner's dog at our National Specialty Show out of the 12 to 18 month class. He has been shown only sparingly, mostly at specialties as a champion, and was already a multiple specialty show and group winning dog. He had received group wins not only from breeder judges, but from Patricia Craigh Trotter. Most of all, however, he was a heart melting wonderkind. I am lucky to have bred him, to have lovd him and to have had him at home in my life.  Mikey left us as a victim of Erlichia.  His loss has been deep, but true to form, he never had a bad day.
