Carrie Ann is a once in a lifetime dog,
even for a breeder. She is the first puppy I have purchased instead of breeding. She flew
back with me from Washington state as quiet as a mouse and proceeded to take over my life.
She finished easily with breed wins over specials from the classes, took successive awards
of merit at two National Specialty Shows 1998/1999 and an award of merit at Westminster in
1999.She won the Mayflower GSPC Specialty at the December Boston cluster in 1999. Carrie
was number 5 show GSP in the country in breed points, making her number 2 bitch, and was
number 8 all points for 1999. We laid off her showing a little that fall and had some time
to do what she loves best--hunting. She finished her junior hunter title in four
consecutive tries with scores of 9 and 10. She retired from the campaign trail at the end
of 1999, and we have enjoyed her pups, anumber of which are champions.
Carrie lived nearby with an active outdoor woman and her friend, a
pointer. |
